EFT Emotional Freedom Techniques, tapping on special energy points whilst tuning in to an emotional problem which needs to be released, is an energy technique. EFT is not hypnosis, it isn't witchcraft, it isn't psychology or a behavioural pattern interrupt, it isn't tissue massage or physiotherapy - EFT is an example of modern energy work.
Trying to deny this simple fact in order to gain "scientific acceptance" is not an option, as energy work is greatly influenced by intention and directed by conscious focus of attention.
Using EFT from the wrong mind set reduces its effectiveness; and conversely, when we apply EFT "with energy in mind," we put EFT in its rightful place in the treatment of the mind, body, spirit triad and we improve its effectiveness, power, ease of use immediately and noticeably.
When we combine tapping EFT with aromatherapy, we can create some very interesting experiences of healing and improving the flow of energy.

Here are my suggestions.
The one EFT question I get asked over and over again is "How do I find the right set up phrase or opening statement to tap on?"
That is the million dollar question in EFT because the right set up phrase or opening statement is exactly what makes the "EFT miracle cure" happen in an instance. And to a large degree, how good an EFT practitioner is I would measure by how quickly and accurately they can identify the kinds of set up phrases or opening statements that would unlock that person's problems like the perfect key unlocks a door.

Dear X, You are not alone! Lots and lots and lots of people, and probably even your therapist, although they might have forgotten this by now, baulk at the set up phrase "I deeply and profoundly love and accept myself." Because they don't and they know they don't. And they don't want to do self help based on a lie. Totally understandable! Here are 5 alternative approaches to choose from.
